Abe Lincoln & Cochran Leases
The Abe Lincoln and Cochran are two adjacent leases that are run from the one Airwell pumping system. Currently there are 11 pumps operating from the one central air compressor hub. However the system has been designed to be expanded by an additional 22 wells at any time.
Central Compressor Unit

As with all Airwell Pumping Systems it is only necessary to have a power source available at one central location. From this point the energy (compressed air) is distributed to the various wells using a high pressure air hose, allowing the central compressor hub to power well locations up to 2 miles (3.2 kilometres) from the central compressor unit.
Well Head Competion

The risk of oil leaks at the well head is greatly reduced with an Airwell Pumping System, as there is no sucker rod and stuffing box at the surface. This lessens the potential environment impact on the site. In addition, an Airwell Pumping System is safer, quieter and more visually appealing as it has no moving parts at the head of the well.
Trenching of all Airlines and Flowlines

In combination with low key Airwell well head completions used on this site, all airlines and flowlines have been buried. The combination of these two qualities greatly minimise the effect the oil lease has on the landowner and makes the oil lease a lot less prominent in the surrounding environment.
Telemetry / Automation

This particular system is running full Airwell telemetry and automation.
The central hub constantly monitors:
- Oil Level in the air compressor.
- Air pressure in the airline.
- Level of all salt water / oil tanks.
- And every individual pump via a radio link.
In the event of any of the tanks becoming full or any other fault, the system will autonomously turn off the appropriate equipment to avoid damage or an over flow situation.
The hub then has a 24/7 link back to Airwell Oil & Gas offices in the USA and Australia. This allows Airwell Oil & Gas staff to daily monitor the operation of the lease without the need for daily site inspections, while still improving reaction times to any possible breakdown situation.
