Major Canadian Gas Producer installs their first Airwell pump onto one of their leases - Saskatchewan, Canada

A major Canadian Gas Producer has installed their first Airwell pump onto one of their leases in Saskatchewan.

The shallow 1,312 feet (400m) well had previously been liquid loaded and had lain dormant with zero gas production. The Airwell pump is successfully pumping 65 BBls per day of fluid from the well with the well initially retuning online to produce 35 MCF per day with this production steadily increasing.

Features of this Airwell installation:

Remote System Monitoring
Airwell can remotely monitor and report on the following data from their Texas office or from their Australian office for a truly 24hr service:

  • Gas Production
  • Fluid Production
  • Casing Pressure
  • Standing Fluid Level

Airwell’s Coiled Tubing Umbilical
Airwell’s Coiled tubing  umbilical system allows for fast installation and recovery of the down hole pumping unit with the ability to do so on a live well.

Silt Handling
The Airwell pump has the ability to pump silts and other fines and particulates suspended in the fluid, without any permanent effect on the performance and reliability of the pumping unit.
