Seven Airwell pumping systems were installed in Claremore, Oklahoma in June 2010.
These are monitored and controlled from Airwell’s Office in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Before installation of the Airwell system, these 7 well where equipped with traditional Jump
Jack systems as above.
This well has just been fitted with an Airwell system and is only to be tidied up and commissioned.
Base line Echo Meter reading of fluid levels are taken and recorded to assist with the management
of each oil well.
Detailed view of an Airwell pump controller. You will notice the solar power
supply as these well controllers may be sited long distances from the power
supply, typically up to three miles. You will also note the radio antenna on the
top of this controller. This is to communicate all data back and forth from the
central control hub.
As an Airwell system has no polish rod and packing there is little likelihood
of the well site becoming contaminated by oil and salt water spills. It should
remain as un affected as the above depicts.
