Low Yield Testing

After extensive deep water well testing in Australia, Airwell Oil & Gas were fortunate enough to have access oil wells in America through an allied company to conduct our final tests in oil.

However after installation both of the test pumps had pumped the wells completely dry within five minuets of operation. Instead of removing these pumps and placing them in more productive wells, it was decided to leave them in place and use this site as an extreme example of the systems main feature.

Although Airwell Pumping Systems are capable of pumping high flows. The main feature of an Airwell System is its ability to reliably pump and optimise low production wells.

The installed pumps have been operating 24/7 since the 3 September 2008. Even though the pumps are 100% optimising these wells, they still only produce 0.16 BBLs of total fluid per day.

As seen from the graph below, these pumps have consistently matched the production of the wells for 6 months. Even at this extreme low flow rate, there is no effect on the reliability of the system.

In this time no Airwell Oil & Gas Technician has been needed to go to site for any technical faults related to the pumping system.

By the nature of the Airwell Pumping System, if the wells were re-worked to produce more oil or you recirculated the pumped oil back down the well. The pumps will automatically adjust to the new higher flow rate. The Airwell Pumping System will also reduce its pumping rate if the production of the well diminishes. Consistently optimising the well at all times with no danger of damage to the equipment through low flow.

The purpose of this site is to demonstrate that an Airwell Pumping System can reliably optimise the flow of a well in these extremely un-economic conditions. In a real world example they can easily help you get the full potential from you low production wells.
